The New Boston Police Department is comprised of five sworn officers and two support services personnel. We are considered a part time law enforcement agency and typically have a duty officer on between the hours of 7:00 am and 11:00 pm. After these hours or when a duty officer is not available the New Hampshire State Police “Troop B”, will cover. Due to the large area that the State Police covers, they are not always able to respond. In these cases we staff an on-call officer and supervisor to handle emergency calls.
Our vision is to be an accredited law enforcement agency, practicing community policing and problem solving in partnership with our community. By becoming forward thinking leaders, we will provide comprehensive services that will earn both the confidence and respect of the citizens we serve.
To this end, we understand that there is always room for improvement and we encourage the community to give us input on the services that we provide. Should you have any questions, concerns or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me or one of my staff; either by telephone, email or stopping in to the department.
Thank you for visiting our web site and we look forward to serving you further.
