Source Water Protection Plan
Notice is hereby given of a Public Hearing to be held in the New Boston Town Hall starting at 7:15 P.M.+/- on Tuesday, August 25, 2009. The purpose of the hearing is to consider adoption of the Source Water Protection Plan for the Town of New Boston. The Source Water Protection Plan has been prepared to identify existing and potential contamination threats to public water systems and to offer recommendations to manage those threats in order to maintain quality drinking water.
DUE TO THE LENGTH OF THE DOCUMENT, COPIES OF THE FULL TEXT OF THE SOURCE WATER PROTECTION PLAN ARE AVAILABLE FOR REFERENCE ONLY at the Town Hall Planning Department during regular business hours. Section copies can be made for a nominal charge at the Planning Department. The Source Water Protection Plan will be available at the public hearing.
