New Boston Fire Classification
New Boston has an ISO rating of 6 to 10. This affects the cost of homeowners fire insurance policy. The costs may be lower for those in the 6 rated area. The classifications are as follows:
~ 6 = a home whose driveway is within 2,200 road feet of a cistern and within 5 road miles of either the New Boston or Goffstown Fire Departments.
~ 9 = a home whose driveway is not within 2,200 road feet of a cistern but is within 5 road miles of either the New Boston or Goffstown Fire Departments.
~ 10 = a home whose driveway is not within 2,200 road feet of a cistern and not within 5 road miles of either the New Boston or Goffstown Fire Departments.
