Fires must be monitored at all times.
Outdoor burning of trash and/or construction debris is NOT PERMITTED and violators are subject to enforcement action by the State of New Hampshire - Department of Environmental Protection.
You may obtain a burning permit from the Town Clerk during regular business hours.
However, verbal permission to burn MUST be obtained that day from one of the Wardens (see the link above)
Additional information such as burn times, restrictions, allowable materials, seasonal permits and rules and regulations may also be obtained from the Warden or Deputy.
Please remember that the Forest Fire Warden and Deputy Wardens are volunteers. A return phone call is subject to their availability.
Remember; "Only you can prevent Forest Fires!"
